A beach wedding is a beautiful affair and offers the ultimate Caribbean wedding experience. Like many Brides you will opt to invite friends and family to share this special moment and undoubtedly you want to have your guests feeling comfortable and refreshed as they enjoy the sun, sea, sand and love.  A beach wedding is a great choice and by incorporating the five tips below, you will ensure that your guests are as cool as you are!

  1. Water Infusion

One major feature of your beach wedding will be the ever present Mr. Sun. As the day heats up have your guests served water infused with cucumber, mint, lemons and other fruits for a decorative and tasty cooling drink. Kick it up a notch by using fruits that match your wedding colors.

  1. Cool fruits

How cute is this! Have local fruits chilled, cut into bite size pieces and served in little cups immediately after the ceremony by your hotel or caterer.  It’ll be a cute, inexpensive and decorative treat.

  1. In the bag

Who doesn’t like a treat! Pre stuff little bags with snacks, candy and mint. You can really take it to the next level by using local snacks to give your guests a taste of the island.

  1. Let them eat cake

Feed their sweet tooth a little before the reception by having a post ceremony dessert stall ready with a variety of pastries. Is there ever a bad time to have cake? We don’t think so!

  1. Savor

Add a little savory to the mix, think a cool shrimp ceviche or even kebabs. You can be conservative with this or go as far as having a live action station. It’s really up to you.

These tips are meant to give your guests light refreshments after your beach ceremony has ended. You can incorporate all or even one and they work well whether you will be having a sit down reception or a cocktail reception.  Tell us what you think @bridaldreamsja (twitter and Instagram)
